My first post in a while. It was a trying few months. A lot of medical concerns. I was one of the lucky ones and my diagnosis was not cancer. I had histoplasmosis. I had a piece of my lung removed and now I am getting back to normal.
This is my first card in quite a while. My husband is a great person. We do not have any children together but he loves my son as his own. Our dog is his most precious belonging so I thought he deserved a card from her.
This one was a copy of one on Pinterest.
And his gift I cut with my scroll saw and painted.
Just wanted to share the Easter card I made. I used a Kadoodle free file call Easter Bunny Bear and Miss Kates cutables Daffodil file. I added a glitter background and ribbon to the bottom. I did not have an Easter sentiment made up so I had wrote and used two brads to add color.
It has been quite a while since my last post. A lot of changes in my life.
As a few of you may know, I started a journey of quitting smoking in March 17th, 2014. I am proud to say I conquered the task and I am still smoke free. During this time, my mother-in-law moved out of our house and in with my sister-in-law. They seem to be happy.
I had to clean out her room which included pulling up the carpet, replace with hardwood floor, painted the room. I am still hanging my wall decor.
I got to spend time with my son and his family over Christmas in Gatlinburg, Tenn. I am blessed with them. Love them to pieces.
Now it seems I am having a few health problems. Nothing that God will not let me handle I am sure.
To get back into my crafts I decided I would make this vase and roses for the girl at the doctor's office that is being really helpful on getting my appointments set. Hope she likes them.
Thanks everyone for visiting and listening to my rant.
Morning all and thanks for stopping. Quick post as I am headed for your blogs and then a dinner with friends to celebrate her birthday. The card is for her. Her and her hubby rescues Macaws. They have 4 now and love their birds. When the Sil store offered this from Quietfire, I immediately thought of her. Looks a little plain as her birds are bright colors but I still like it.
Morning all. Hope your day is starting off perfect!
I did this card this morning. Another creative blogger had blogged a version of this and I remembered I had the Silhouette file. I love how this turned out and hope you do too. I stamped Believe instead of using the Thanks cutout that came with the file. I used glossy accents to outline the word and then the top of the flower.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful and blessed day!
Morning all and thank you for stopping. Today I have a card I bought from the Silhouette store. It was suppose to have a photo in the center but instead I used a stampin up image I had purchased and never used. I then added my beloved "Stickles" to add the snow effect. I used double sided adhesive paper to cut the snowflake and used blue glitter. I then added Glossy accents to the tab and Joy cutouts.
Have a marvelous day! Hubby taking me out for steak for our 19th anniversary tonight so I have to get the housework done.
